AFTER ESSENTIALS - SURF PONCHO - ARTIST SERIES
I’m excited to be part of the new artist series with After Essentials, alongside artists including Jérôme Masi, who invited me to take part in the project after we met through StolenSpace Gallery in London last year. The collaboration felt like a natural fit, especially as my work often explores wave-like imagery, movement and frequencies of nature. Using one of my signature wave compositions for their signature Poncho connected perfectly to the surf and beach environment that inspires the brand.
I wanted the design to carry a sense of motion, using gradients and detailed line work to create something immersive and fluid across the garment. I’m really pleased with how the piece translated onto the Poncho and the quality of the final product.
The After Essentials Artist Series is now live, with a limited number of Ponchos also available on the Kai & Sunny store.
Each Poncho comes paired with a matching Tote bag.
After a surf session, between laps at the pool, on the beach at sunset, while travelling, under an unexpected shower, or cosy at home — our ponchos are there when you need them. Easy to slip on, ultra-comfortable, they adapt to every situation.
After Essentials adds that little extra touch that turns after into an essential moment.
